Spending some time abroad can be a very important part of your education. Spending time abroad will help you to view things from a different perspective. However, taking courses at a different University raises the question whether and how these courses can be recognised at your home institution. We have to find out the following: If courses are comparable, then we can recognise the qualification you obtain abroad. If there are substantial differences between courses, either in periods of study or in obtained qualification, then we can't recognise courses as equivalent.

You should provide the necessary information to assess the above issues. Often this information is described on the homepage of the course for which you seek recognition.
